A Florida man was detained on May 27 when it was claimed that he attempted to get through security at a Disney Springs parking garage while carrying two magazines, a gun, and ammo in a bag.
Around 10 p.m., Josue Aaron Lopez passed through security at the parking garage. When his luggage was flagged for a second inspection, authorities discovered the items, according to FOX 35.
Disney has a strict policy prohibiting the possession of weapons on its grounds.
Lopez admitted to having a folding knife in his bag when going through security. He refused to show the knife when asked by security to do so, responding, "Oh, there's something else in here besides a knife that I want to put back in my car," according to a police report.
The police report states that Lopez was subsequently intercepted by another Disney employee and taken to the Orange County Sheriff's office.
According to the police report, the gun that was reportedly in Lopez's possession was a Glock clone and ought to have a serial number, but it lacked a distinguishable one.
Lopez was detained for illegally carrying a hidden weapon, according to the police report.
