A Florida man became enraged after his neighbor’s music was played too loud, so he shot him in the back.
Police reports state Zachary Moncada, 31, was arrested on Christmas Eve and charged with attempted murder after shooting his unnamed neighbor in the back for playing his music too loudly.
Moncada shot his neighbor before the victim’s relatives were able to subdue him on the front lawn of their Boca Raton home, the family was able to disarm Moncada but not before he was able to shoot the gun again during the struggle. No one else was shot during the incident.
When police arrived around 2:30 p.m., they found the victim’s family holding Moncada on the ground.
The victim was taken to the hospital by his wife and was last listed in stable condition.

Moncada has been charged with first-degree premeditated attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, three counts of battery and a weapons charge for the display of a firearm during a felony.
He is being held without bail.
