Police Arrive At Historical Library To Find Man Committing Unspeakable Acts

Tuesday, police received a call to the Boston Public Library where a man was reportedly masturbating. Three officers sustained non-life-threatening injuries while responding to the radio call where a man bit and punched the officers, according to authorities.

Library staff made the call to authorities around 8:30 a.m. reporting an adult male was masturbating in front of the historic building. The man was later identified as 43-year old Cornelio Conley.

“When asked to leave by library staff, Conley became combative and assaulted a member of library staff,” the Boston Police Department said Tuesday in a news release.

Conley resisted officers’ attempts to take him into custody and “threw a tarp” at one officer. According to a news release, Conley also punched and bit the officers.

Officers used pepper spray to subdue Conley and took him “into custody without further incident,” police said. Additional officers responding to the call transported the injured officers to a nearby hospital for treatment.
