Tenn. Man Charged With Murder After Going Hog Wild On His Friend

A Tennesse man has been charged for the death of another man killed during an argument about a pig.

Andrew Franklin Bush, 26, from Looneyville, Tennessee, was charged with second-degree murder after he allegedly struck a man in the head with a leaf blower on Oct. 22, according to Roane County Magistrate Court.

Witnesses said that William Greathouse, Bush, and another man were attempting to load a pig into the back of a pick-up truck which was parked in the driveway. The witnesses said the cage broke, and the pig fell to the ground, then Greathouse and Bush got heated and started yelling and cursing at each other which led to them punching each other in the face.

During the scuffle, Bush picked up a leaf blower and struck Greathouse in the head with such force that the tube broke off the leaf blower.

When State troopers arrived, they discovered Greathouse in the back of a pick-up truck and reported that he was unconscious and not breathing.

In a statement Bush gave to the police, he acknowledged that he had struck Greathouse with the leaf blower. He said that he was sorry for hitting Greathouse and that using the blower had been excessive.

Bush is being held at the Central Regional Jail with a $100,000 bond.
